This is my first semester at Ashland (Columbus Branch) in the Bachelor’s Plus program. I have a B.S. in Journalism from West Virginia University; let’s go Mountaineers! I am currently a substitute teacher and server, but I plan to be a high school English teacher. This blog serves as a reflection on what I learn about educational technology in Ashland’s EDCI 505 class.
On a more personal level, I love music, sports and writing. I decided to become a teacher after working in Public Relations post-graduation. I realized I wasn’t suited for a desk job and that I would feel much more fulfilled in a career that gives back to others. I believe that technology is essential in modern education, and look forward to sharing my thoughts, questions and concerns about the topic in this blog.
